Tafsir Al-Falaq (113) — الفلق

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ ﴿١﴾

Say, O Messenger: “I seek refuge in the Lord of the morning and I seek His protection.” من شر ما خلق

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢﴾

“From the evils of the harms of all creation.” ومن شر غاسق إذا وقب

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣﴾

“And I seek refuge in Allah from the evils that appear in the night, i.e. harmful creatures and bandits.”

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ ﴿٤﴾

“And I seek His refuge from the evils of the sorceresses who blow onto knots.” ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥﴾

“And I seek His refuge from the evil of the jealous one when he acts out his jealousy.”
